I am Temperance

Hello and welcome to my page. I am a newly published author who writes mainly fantasy though I have a few sci-fi ideas bouncing around as well. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember.

I began Perception, the first novel of the Birthright Saga when I was a sophomore in high school. Fifteen years old for those who didn’t grow up in The States. My father often jokes that while it took me ten years to finish the first draft of Perception, it only two months to finish the first draft of Order and Chaos, so obviously it will take me only two days for the next one. It is my goal to become a full-time novelist, and each new book is one step closer to that goal.

My dream though, is that my readers, whether there is one or a million, enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

There is a quote attributed to Victor Hugo, “A writer is a world trapped in a person.” It is one of my favorite quotes, though as an over achiever, I must admit, I find it slightly inaccurate. I am more than one world trapped in a single person, and I look forward to teaching you about all of them.
